Play 4 the RESERVES.
Heard from various sources / rumours etc that several members of the current 1st team cannot or will not be able to go full time next year.
Simple solution is stay with the club but go to the reserves - they will in all likelihood be playing in a higher league next year too, you can keep your jobs and still play at a decent level - in fact in a year or 2 the 2nd team may well be at where the 1st's were not that long ago ! Added to this is the fact that if the likes of Smith, Cheesy etc were playing in 2nd team matches the crowds would go up and the ground would be well attended nearly every saturday of the season if the reserves were home whilst the 1st's away.
Sure the players concerned have thought about this - if not how about it. The 2nd team is good enough as it is now but imagine what it could be like !!!!!!

The question will be,
Would they rather play for a reserve team? or play for a first team at the same level? depends on whats on offer I suppose really.
I suspect that a fair few of them will stay at the club at reserve team level.
Although I did hear a rumour about Gossy the other week about taking a player management role elsewhere!! _________________ YNWA JFT96
