After 3 successive premier league titles, an F.A Cup, LDV vans trophy and Champions League trophy with Yeovil Town on the PC hit game championship Manager 2007/8 season -Simon 'Tubbsy' Tubbs tried his hand at a real managerial role in tonights big falmouth helston 2 league game versus mawgan.
Some may call him a tactical genius, wanting to make 3 subs on the hour and dragging lines from his wide midfield players in a diagonal fashion into the corner of the pitch he soon realised this was not feasible and shortly entered a cold sweat.
After a brief moment he then decided to protect the two goal lead that was given to city by christain lett and alec penrose by bringing on jack stokes to sure up the defence and another lad(sorry dont know his name) in midfield.
When interviewed after the game simon tubbs quoted as saying: " Nothing prepares you for the real thing,it was a fantastic win on my part, i dont think the players realise that yet. My obvious next step now is to apply for the vacant 1st Team managers position as i feel the time is right".
Great win lads. 10 more to go and the league may still be ours |

Nice report. Let us not forget that Tubbsy pulled off a remarkable victory at the weekend with his under 16 squad, so his credentials speak for themself. However I think in the Under 16 Final he benefitted by some specialist insider information on the Jaguars tactics!!

Tubbsy applying for the 1st team job? i heard hes going to pendeen?
it was a good win, escially after some dogdy goalkeeping by me in the 1st half and some other missed chances at the other end.
i have heard about the 'specialist insider information' and i think it was a class idea!!
o and the boy who came on was mikey burns. (best give him a shout out)
