| Sven Goran Eriksson approached to be Truro manager |
|
|
A fan of Truro City has sent a request to Sven to ask him to consider becoming Truro Citys new manager.
As Sven will be getting a large pay off for the remainder of his contract he has been asked to be Citys manager for free for 2years. (i.e the pay he is receiving from Man City)
Sven has yet to reject the approach.
other managers which fans would approve of despite having been ridiculed in previous managerial posts are
Glenn Hoddle
Steve Mclaren
Sam Allardyce
(
if Sven rejects the approach then the others will be contacted in the order stated.
it makes as much sense as some of the other recent posts) _________________ There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that dont.

Excellent news!
Ulrikka Johnson will be brought in as new bar manager, and Tord Grip as Reserves Team manager.
Can't wait for the new season! _________________

MOTD
With reference to Glenda Hoddle (Our God Hod to some on this forum with a certain 'other' allegiance) I'm reminded that his former colleague Peter Taylor is on the Rock 'n' Roll again. Used to turn out a half decent side at Dartford years ago.
Strangely MOTD has omitted the former St. James' Park legend, and hero to legions of Geordies, Graham Souness, usually gets linked with every other job going so why not this one?......... |

Sorry Guys, but this is clearly wrong -
We should know by now that wild speculation and rumours do not do the club any good at all.
I have it on good authority that the new Managers job will go to Neil Warnock, after getting Crystal Palace into the Premiership [almost at present] he now wants to do the same for Truro.
In a recent interview he said - I want to be closer to my Tractor and being Manager of Truro would be absolutely ideal. |

For some strange reason, I believe Warnock may be in charge at Treyew Road in July/August time, can't for the life of me think why I believe that he will be leading a team out, can you? _________________

Once the Pony Express get's as far as Newcastle and King Kev hears about this he will walk out on the Magpies and walk across the Tamar to pastures new! |

Well, whilst surfing the Google News pages the following headline, dated 18th April 2008, concerning Truro City came up:
"Town Manager approached by City"
According to the Google trailer the Bridgwater Mercury ran a story ( apparently since deaded off from its website) that Craig Laird, co-manager of Bridgwater Town, had been approached by TCFC.
any of our fans/agents in Somerset have any further info? |

Oh my God!
Someone on PASOTI suggets that Holloway should go to Truro now that Lennys gone. Heaven forbid this and that Argyle fan should wash his mouth out with soap and water for suggesting such a thing! |

We do not want Ollie. The guy's a moron who made a shocking decision to leave Argyle when they had a squad capable of promotion. He's tactically incompetent and would not be good for the club.
Sven on the other hand..... |

How can you call a Manager who took Argyle into the play-off positions INCOMPETENT?
You call him a Moron and then ADMIT he assembled a squad capable of promotion.
Football and questionable judgement springs to mind when reading posts that contradicts what is being written.

Looking at Leicester since Milan Mandaric arrived, surely FIVE
managers in just 15 months couldn't all have been wrong.

he is a moron for leaving a side capable of promotion for a side fighting relegation.
the fact he doubled his wages to £500,000 perhaps shows his motivation.
it was the 2 facedness of him, I love argyle etc then leaving them mid-season _________________ There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that dont.
