| New Manager Set To Be Unvailed |
|
|
Rhod Mitchell suggests in the West Briton this morning that City will announce their new manager at the presentation evening on Saturday and speculation is that it will be ex professional Sean Mc Carthy.
If the speculation is true then he is surely to be welcomed by the City faithful, Sean has many links in the footballing world which must be seen as a great assest.
With the league set up now confirmed his first task will be attracting top class signings into the club. _________________ The History Makers Are On The March |

Here's hoping the knees hold out for the training ground, that "A" Licence coaching badge along with past experience could be an asset, man management shouldn't be a problem, a long successful career under many managers should have rubbed off on him, first reaction is just the type of experienced 'old' pro City need.
If Sean McCarthy is the new manager, welcome aboard Sean, the only way is up, no pressure, (we just expect great things - lol). _________________ "CHAMPIONS AGAIN"

In reply to your question St.Darren I briefly met him at the back end of year at the club and was very impressed with the guy,I believe he knows several of our players and also been told he has very good contacts which we need to bring in the right kind of personnel.

He'll certainly know a few players
As a player he was winner, sometimes fair, sometimes not fair, but he was a winner alright.
I certainly wouldn't like to be one that would upset him or go against him _________________ YNWA JFT96 |

If the rumours are correct, welcome aboard Sean.I think he would be a very popular choice with the local football fans. His reputation alone will attract the crowds to Treyew Rd.There is no doubting his credentials as a footballer and will have a lot to pass on to the City team. There has been a mention of his lack of experience as a manager, but as they say, everyone has to start somewhere. To my mind this could be more of an asset than a problem.Being his first proper management position I think he will be out to prove something to the footballing world in this part of the country, and I think all the tools for the job will be at hand at Treyew Rd.
The Southern League! (bring it on) ONWARD AND UPWARD.
