Come on then, where is the sensible money...?
Can we, realistically, do it?
What would your team be? |

I realize I may be terrifically naive, but why isn't the USA even on the list? We're ranked 6th in the world, and are taking a stronger team than four years ago, when we beat Portugal and Mexico, and lost to Germany narrowly.
Admittedly, we've got to get out of the group of death, but Italy has been known for group stage lapses, and if they go into a defensive shell, we may have a chance to upset them. And if we beat Ghana and earn a draw from the Czechs, we could move on!
I'm not holding my breath, but I'm not giving up yet, either. . .

Apologies Xembla - Could only fit 15 names in the poll so punted the 8 or so 'favourites'!
I think USA and equally Australia will do well this year, though Id be very suprised if either of them won it. Nevertheless, we were all suprised by Greece so who knows...
Both Australia and USA definately have the ability in the squad, so... |
