Sixty companies drop MTV's dating show, Sony continues to be frequent advertiser
Your emails to advertisers and Florida Family Association's daily communications with advertisers have influenced sixty (60) companies to discontinue advertising on MTV's bi-sexual dating show. This number does not include dozens of other companies that were influenced to avoid the program before it first aired.
MTV aired the first of ten episodes of "A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila" on October 9th. The series features sixteen guys and sixteen lesbians who want to be Tila Tequila's mate. Ms. Tequila is a bisexual. All seventeen people live in one house.
MTV airs this show several times every day. This means millions of children are exposed to a program that promotes bi-sexuality and the hedonism that occurs when you have that many young people living under one roof.
Florida Family Association uses special software to send emails on a daily basis to the presidents and marketing vice presidents of companies that advertise on this show. We send out email alerts to inform supporters about those companies that continue to advertise after receiving emails from us.
The following sixty companies discontinued advertising after receiving emails from you and Florida Family Association: Activision (Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, Tony Haws Proving Grounds games), Adidas, Alberto-Culver USA, Allstate, AT&T Mobility, Bandai America, Barr Pharmaceuticals, Best Buy, Bissell, Brinker International, British Petroleum, Busch Entertainment, Cadbury Adams (Dentyne, Trident), Circuit City, Coca Cola, Converse, Dell, Drivetime, Inc., EA Games, Firstgroup America (Greyhound), Gamestop, Garmin, General Motors, Hanes Brands (Playtex), Hasbro, Hillsborough County Schools, Johnson & Johnson (Monistat, Neutrogena, Listerine), JP Morgan Chase, Kawasaki Corporation USA, Kentucky Fried Chicken, KIA Motors USA, Lions Gate Films, Macy's, Mar's, Inc. (Snickers, Starburst), Monster.com, Motorolla, Nautilus Group (Bowflex), Office of National Drug Control Policy, Payless Shoes, Pfizer (Listerine), Pizza Hut, Procter & Gamble (Old Spice, Secret), Razor & Tie Entertainment, Red Bull, Saab Automobile USA, Sonic Drive Ins, Southwest Florida College, Sprint-Nextel, Take Two Interactive (NBA games), Target, T-Mobile USA, Toyota Motor Sales, Unitrin, Universal, Technical Institute, US Navy, Valve Corporation (The Orange Box), Verizon, Virgin Mobile, Wal-Mart and Warner-Chilot (Loestrin).
Sony Corporation of America continues to be the leading advertiser on this irresponsible show with ads for the following products frequently appearing: Buzz the Mega Quiz game, Columbia Pictures, Heavenly Sword movie, PSP, Playstation 3, Ratchet and Clark game, Singstar game, Sony Ericsson Mobile, Spiderman 3, The Christmas movie and Walk Hard movie.
