As President Bush's last year in office winds down, he needs to be reminded that the imprisonment of two decorated Border Patrol agents remains a stain on his legacy. It is unconscionable that this president has pardoned corrupt politicians and even drug dealers, but could not bring himself to pardon Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, two decorated agents who were framed, prosecuted and sentenced to more than 10 years in a federal prison for doing their jobs.

As long as these two men are in prison, it is every American's responsibility to continue to do everything he or she can to get them out.
