Exclusive: Barbara Simpson accuses 'elitist, racist snob' of demeaning people for politics
Good old Barack. He never misses a chance to find a pothole and jump right in.
Last week, it was in San Francisco, among the rich and beautiful. It was a fundraiser in high society and high bank accounts.
Democrat presidential contender Barack Obama was there to entice guests to break out the checkbooks and write the big ones – checks with lots of zeroes. He decided to cement his appeal by demeaning people in Pennsylvania.
He must have thought those San Franciscans would feel so superior to those peons who are depressed by job losses that they would fork over the big bucks.
It may have been a fundraising ploy, but it revealed more about Obama and his thinking, than he or his handlers ever imagined.
He did it in one scattergun blast from his own racist-elitist mindset:
"You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them."
"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." In one short statement he said people who have lost jobs over 25 years never had the personal wherewithal to find others and continue with their lives.
In other words, they're worthless slugs.
Then he called them gun-grabbers as a means of striking back at the evil world.
He threw in religion as a last resort for these losers instead of the role religion really plays in the lives of people.
It makes one wonder Obama's reason for clinging to his religion for 20 years with the Rev. Wright. Perhaps as his means to beat on whitey?
Not content to stop there, he throws in accusations of bigotry against "different" people – as though Pennsylvanians are all white and hate anyone "different" – whatever that means.
Oh yes, then came anti-immigrant bigotry. He didn't miss that. He ignored the ethnic heritage of millions in "… small towns in Pennsylvania" and those "… small towns in the Midwest …" to say nothing about people nationwide. The melting pot and all that.
Then he threw in "… anti-trade sentiment."
In one fell swoop, he insulted Americans across the board.
What possessed him? He needs the votes of Pennsylvanians during the upcoming primary!
What happened wasn't a sudden "possession." What happened was that more of the real Obama is becoming public. He is, at heart, an elitist, racist snob who thinks nothing of demeaning people for political expediency.
It also reveals he's more than a socialist at heart and his attitude of superiority means he would have no compunction using political power to force lifestyle changes on the ignorant, teeming masses which populate states like Pennsylvania and the Midwest.
As word got out about what he said, there was no denying it. It was a tough one to spin.
He tried.
On Saturday in Indiana, he said his words were ill chosen and "I didn't say it as well as I should have."
He went on: "These traditions are passed from generation to generation …" and, they're "important because that's what sustains us."
What? Gun-grabbing, redneck religionists, who are bigoted, racist isolationists are our traditions?
Ill-chosen words, indeed!
Lesser words have started wars. It's a clear example of his inexperience.
Obama is dangerous. He's clearly not equipped to take on the job as the most powerful leader in the world. Not only would he put the United States in danger in world politics, he would put the rest of the world on the edge of incredible horror.
This isn't the first time Obama has done such a thing. The other big issue was race. He did it at a time when this country has gone beyond past racial divisions.
To hear media tell it, and to hear the gushing of balmy liberals of every political stripe, just the fact that a black man is a viable presidential candidate shows "how much progress" we've made.
Actually, they're swooning over a guy who isn't even all black. One wonders if Obama had black skin instead of brown, or if he had more traditional black features instead of those reflecting his half-white heritage, would he be so idealized by liberals who see him as a political and social savior?
They do see Obama's candidacy as some sort of mystical – no, religious – expiation of our racial sins. As a result, he can do no wrong, can be asked no challenging questions, and one must never, never, ever make reference to his heritage.
Unless, of course, he brings it up.
And he does. He took it upon himself to preach to America and particularly lecturing troublesome whites who've caused all the trouble over the years, that there is much, much more to do before we're a racially blind, fair and good country.
Obama's highly touted race speech was really a vehicle to bash whites whom he's said, are "bred" to fear and hate blacks. He even said his white grandmother – who was raising him – was that kind of white.
His carefully written rhetoric – the "gospel according to Obama" – was a politely expressed denunciation of whites and the country's racial equality accomplishments.
Listening to Obama, one would believe white Americans wear Klan robes under their clothes.
This country owes a debt of thanks to Hillary Clinton who keeps fighting in this primary race. Every day that passes provides Americans with the opportunity to see the real Barack Obama, not just the carefully packaged 21st-century socialist Trojan Horse we've been getting.
The times are dangerous and so is Obama.
