I haven't focused too much on the immigration issue that America is now facing up to this point because I have been sitting back watching the levels of lunacy that both sides have lowered themselves to.



I have watched the demonstrations in our major cities by "Latinos/Mexicans" or whatever term is proper. (By the way, "Mexican" is not racist or derogatory in my book, and it drives me crazy that every time I use a term to describe where a person comes from that I have to explain it to the morons out there). I WILL tell you that these demonstrations have angered me, and here's why…





Suppose you are sitting on the couch with your wife and children watching some "family oriented programming" on DVD. You got your popcorn and chips and some drinks to quench the thirst and you're having a great "family home evening". Then there's a knock at the door. You pause the DVD and go to see who it is. When you open the door, here stands a nice looking young man. (Insert here any P.C. term for a particular race if you like). I will use "Caucasian" because I am one and the term doesn’t offend me, (nor do a lot of others either, but I ain't a crybaby). Now this "Caucasian" is clean, nicely groomed blonde hair, blue eyes, clean-shaven, nicely dressed, no offending odors and has a nice smile.

He says "hello" and then walks right past you into your family room, deposits himself on the couch, un-pauses the DVD, and starts watching the "family oriented programming" with your wife and children.



Now, I am quite sure that you will think nothing of this and will do nothing more than take a seat on the couch as well and offer him some popcorn…right?



NO? You don't agree? Well of course, you don't… who would? You have no idea who this character is or what his intentions are. The description that I gave you above of this young man matches up well with Jeffrey Dahmer.




Here's what you would have done in the real world…



As Mr. Dahmer would have tried to walk in the direction of your family, you would have put your hand up to his chest, stopped him, and maybe asked him if you could help him. (That's a nice way of saying, "Just what in the Sam Hill do you think your doing?") If he tried to get past you, no doubt you would have shoved him out the door and if possible; closed it, locked it, and called the police.



I'm an old biker with a big 'tude, (and a sheepdog), so I wouldn't have been that nice about it. I would have called the police to come and scrape him up off the street where I had dumped his carcass. Don't like my attitude? Don't invade my home! And that's exactly what this is, a "Home Invasion." No police officer, D.A. or judge would have a problem with me defending my home.



Now, I am drawing a parallel here and I realize that there is a big difference between my house and a country with sovereign borders…

Oh!

Wait a minute!!!

No there isn't a difference, America is MY HOME! I was born and raised here. There are many immigrants here who came in through the legal channels and became naturalized citizens of this country. This is their home too and I welcome them here as a part of the American family.



I have no problem with ANY person coming here from another country. Many come here for a variety of reasons. However, most come because America offers them dreams that can come true but are unattainable in their home country. Maybe they just want to work and provide for their families; maybe they just want a good education. "Great," I say, "come, work, learn, and obey the laws of our home." Stay if you like, become a part of our family and LEARN ENGLISH!!! Living where I do, I see many Mexicans every day that lose out on many things simply because they can't read or understand the language.



The problem with all of this is that they are not even "knocking on the door, smiling and walking into my home." They are sneaking in through the windows and I don't know who they are or what their intentions are. For years, we didn't pay much attention to the illegal aliens pouring into our home. Most just winked and wrote it off as just some poor folks from Mexico trying to make a better living for themselves doing jobs that most Americans wouldn't do anyway, and for a while, it was good, that all changed September 11, 2001.




Most, if not all of the hijackers, were in this country illegally. I don't know about you, but I would not want to see another 3,000 members of my family crushed and incinerated inside of my home again.



We know that tons, (yes, I said tons), of marijuana and cocaine is smuggled into this country by illegals every year through our northern and southern borders, not to mention what gets past our coast guard. And if these ne'er-do-wells will commit these crimes, what stops them from bringing in chemical or biological agents, or worse yet, a suitcase nuke? Perhaps these items are already here and they just need to get into our home to deploy them.



On September 12, 2001, we should have slammed the door, dead-bolted it, and nailed it shut. We should have boarded up the windows. Then we should have sent all of our law enforcement and military into the cities, rounded up every illegal alien, and incarcerated them until we deported them. Does this sound like the Japanese internment? Yes, somewhat, except for the fact that, (and I haven't checked to be sure of this), all of them were either naturalized or were born here, so they WERE legal citizens…BIG difference.



It's been five years since 3,000, Americans were horribly murdered and we are still letting people into our home unchecked. What is it going to take to get you people to wake up, several hundred thousand blown to pieces at a football game? Thousands of people blinded and unable to breathe because some terrorists set off some noxious cloud of gas, or perhaps broken bodies laying in the streets bleeding from every orifice as some mutant virus shreds their internal organs? Or maybe you would prefer a seven-figure number of people incinerated and/or dying from radiation poisoning?




Wake up people! Immigration laws are there to protect our home and our family.



Jeffery Dahmer is sitting on your couch, but his nice smile is now a menacing grin, and he is eyeing your family.

I agree with you. But it's the sheep who are crying about being "good Americans, and supporting those who only want to work, earing a wage that Americans won't work for." First if you want to live here live by our laws. Romans 13 1-7 say's to obey the law of the land. But I guess like everything else the sheep don't want to hear anything about the word of God. They walk around with their heads in the clouds seeing the good in everything and making excuses for evil that is done in the world. I,m sick of hearing about a new syndrome to excuse the behavior of some sick monster. It's just another way to not be responsible for their actions. And when something bad does happen the sheep run wanting the sheepdog to protect them from the wolf. And when all is done and made right again the sheep start back on the same old crying about how unfair America is, till the next time they need help again.
