God As A Prop

The Barack Obama Western Wall prayer, a supposedly humbling experience for the Senator (as he categorized it) has been read and reported on throughout the United States. Here is the note transcribed from above:

“Lord - Protect my family and me,”

“Forgive me my sins, and help me guard against pride and despair. Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will.”

The newspaper that first published said note was criticized for leaking it to the press, since there prayers are supposed to be completely private (i.e. between the Senator and God). The following is a description of how the event was managed:

At around 5am last Thursday, Obama arrived at the Kotel, or Western Wall, abutting the holiest site in Judaism, the Temple Mount. Accompanied by the Rabbi in charge of the site, Shmuel Rabinovich, he reportedly heard Psalm 122, which contains a prayer for the peace of Jerusalem, touched the wall briefly and then deposited a note of prayer into a crack between the ancient stones, in keeping with the tradition of visitors to the site. On his way out, he was briefly heckled, with one man calling out that “Jerusalem is not for sale” and “Remember what you see here.” Trying to drown out the critics, a few supporters chanted his name.

It was subsequently reported that a Yeshiva student stole the picture and that the Maariv newspaper published it, an act that came under fire by other Israeli outlets for being disrespectful. But as it could have been expected from the Obama campaign, the whole event was a fake montage, including the release of the “private” note!

The Israel Insider reports that:

It now appears that Maariv had collaborated with the Obama campaign in getting the “private” prayer, with its “modest” supplication to the Lord, out to the public, buffing his Christian credentials and showing his “humility.”

A Maariv spokesman was quoted in the Jerusalem Post saying that “Barack Obama’s note was approved for publication in the international media even before he put in the Kotel, a short time after he wrote it at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.” SOURCE I, SOURCE 2

In other words, Obama utilizes the Western Wall as a political prop, lies about it being “leaked”, and our Mainstream Media remains quiet about the whole story.

At least the Israelis are completely outraged at this turn of events and have the power to agitate their own base here in the United States before November.

The following quote makes the whole dynamic even stranger:

The [Obama] campaign might be less pleased with another pronouncement by Maariv: “In any case,” the spokesman said, “since Obama is not a Jew, publishing the note does not constitute an infringement on his right to privacy.” Apparently, to the paper, Gentile prayer doesn’t count.

I can already hear Obama utilizing the above statement as a defense for his sleaze; “I am highly educated in religious matters, and I knew that since I am a gentile, my prayer could be published without a problem.” I can also already envision his supporters tying to make this dishonesty appear to be a perfect example of his “vast” knowledge of foreign policy!

Nonetheless, if there is anything more despicable and offensive to any religious person than faked faith, it is the utilization of God as a political prop. It not only demeans the Western Wall, it PROVES, without a doubt, that Barack Hussein Obama does NOT respect Jewish people and only sees them as tools for his acquisition of power.

It is self evident that if the Mainstream Media had done their jobs, this man would have been “out of business” a long time ago.

Please spread the word about Obama’s latest gaffe and don’t let the Media dictate what is (or is not) “news worthy”.
