Palestinian Arab Hate Toward America Must Be Stopped

Dear Mr. President:
Propaganda originating from the Palestinian Arab media depicts American
efforts to bring democracy to the Arab Middle East as fascist. In
different articles this week, the Palestinian Arab Authority daily,
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida defined Western leaders as copies of Hitler,
Americans as fascists, and neo-conservatives as Nazis promoting "Aryan
supremacy." The paper blames American foreign policy as the cause of
Arab extremism.
The continuous flow of anti-Western and anti-Semitic propaganda from
Palestinian Arab sources is widening the divide between the Arabs and
the West. The fighting against the new Iraqi regime and the terrorists
acts throughout the world are a result of the continuous hate flowing
from the world-wide Arab press. The Palestinian Arabs were the
incubators of this hateful propaganda.
According to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), the frequent hatred
expressed towards the United States by the Palestinian Arab Authority
has significant impact on public opinion amidst its constituents. A
recent European poll found that 65 percent of Palestinan Arabs "support
Al-Qaeda actions in the USA and Europe." [Fafo - Norwegian-based NGO, in
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, December 23, 2005]
PMW Director Itamar Marcus notes that the strong support of violent
anti-American support comes in spite of hundreds of millions of dollars
in annual US aid to the Palestinian Arab Authority. Marcus asserts that
the hatred was documented well before the US announced a freeze in
funding, following January's sweeping victory by Hamas in the
Palestinian Legislative Council.
Supporting the Palestinian Arab Authority is contrary to American
interests. The continuing messages of hate spewing forth from
Palestinian Arab sources must stop. I urge you to end your support of
and aid to the Palestinian Arabs.
