What's At Stake?:Open Letter to Clueless Rabbis  Reply with quote

Are you aware of the Rabbi's Letter,
http://tinyurl.com/ppehn ,an
infamous document signed by hundreds of clueless (that's the
kindest word I can think of) American Rabbis sent to the
President on March 3, 2006 and signed by nearly 400 American
rabbis, encouraging President Bush to continue supporting
financially and politically, the Hamas-led government:
"Despite Hamas's victory, recent polls indicate that the
majority of Palestinians remains committed to a peace
agreement with Israel. With this in mind, we urge
constructive engagement with the new Palestinian government,
in ways that bolster moderates such as President Mahmoud
Abbas and sustain the ceasefire that has allowed for
relative calm over the past year."

Relative calm? Only because we caught the bastards before
they blew themselves up, you idiots. The majority of the
Palestians want peace? Yeah, that's why they elected
Hitler's littler helpers.

Who is organizing this piece of back-stabbing abandonment of
the Jews of Israel? Brit Tzedek v'Shalom, the Jewish
Alliance for Justice and Peace whose conference last year
featured Yossi Beilin Yasser Abed Rabbo, architects of the
Geneva Accords, that subversive attempt to do an end-run
around the democratically elected government of Israel, by
allowing Yossi Beilin to give away the country without
actually being in the Israeli government at all. There were
workshops galore on the peace process and the role of
American Jews in helping to push Israelis over the mountain.
There was a Palestinian plenary with several Palestinian
leaders speaking.

Now they are further urging American Rabbis to fight the
congressional bill that would prevent Hamas from getting
U.S. aid, which is now being used for such charming
activities as a Hamas website for Palestinian children
encouraging them to become suicide bombers. Really, how
would they be able to afford to continue these "cultural"
activities without U.S. aid and clueless American Rabbis?

From the Brit Tzedek V' Shalom Website: "

Action Alert: Urge Your Representative Not to Support the
Ros-Lehtinen/Lantos Bill, HR4681

In response to Hamas' victory in the Palestinian elections,
Reps. Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) and Lantos (D-CA) have introduced
legislation that severely restricts the US's ability to
constructively engage with moderate Palestinians and provide
critical aid to the Palestinian people. This bill, H.R.
4681, effectively forfeits any constructive US role in
returning Israelis and Palestinians to the negotiating
table.
Take action here!"

Yes, take action here. This is how to contact this group of
dangerous idiots.
