Visiting Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and his entourage here Monday paid tribute to the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini.
President Ortega arrived here Sunday morning at the head of a high-ranking delegation for an official two-day visit. He was officially welcomed at Tehran Mehrabad International Airport by his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

In a ceremony held at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic in southern Tehran, the Nicaraguan president laid a wreath on the Imam's grave.

After attending the ceremony, he signed the memorial book of the late Imam Khomeini.
