Having trouble reading the forum, READ THIS!

These forums are very user friendly and I have done my best to keep it that way. Each forum has the capability of changing the "theme" (or the design, if you will), if the owners and administrators allow it. We decided to ALLOW this as many readers of this forum can't handle certain colors, or if your like me, you need basic black letters on white background, or you might need larger type.

There is a place here in the forum that you can go to change the theme more to your liking. I have installed many different themes that you can choose from and I can install more if these are not to your liking. As a matter of fact, I can install hundreds if I need to.

Here's how your change it, step by step:

1. From the "Home" or opening page, click on "Profile". This is your personal profile, (the one your created when you registered with the forum).

2. Scroll down until you see the "Preferences" section. Here you can change the way you see things and the way other see you, or not see you if you wish. Keep scrolling down slowly until you see "Board Style". This is where you can change the theme.

3. Right click on the down arrow next to where it says "Access" which is the master theme at this moment. The drop down list now shows you all of the themes that are installed. Click on any one of them other than Access. If you have old tired eyes like mine, Access is the best one, (it has a larger font).

4. This next step is a small but important one that many people don't do and then wonder why it didn't work. MOVE YOUR CURSOR TO THE RIGHT A LITTLE AND RIGHT CLICK ON A BLANK SPOT! This "SETS" your selection. If you scroll before doing this, you will scroll through the themes and usually end up on the bottom one which is the one that everyone dislikes...lol.

5. Now scroll down just a little farther and you will see two buttons. Click on the "Submit" button only. If you click on the "reset" button your gonna have troubles...lol. Then you will need me or one of the other admins to help you out.

6. After you click "Submit", it will take you back to the beginning page and you will notice that nothing has changed at this point. BE PATIENT! It will cycle and change to the new theme by itself.

That's it in 6 easy steps. I suggest you print this out to help you walk through it.
