Facing the Ugliest Truth: Islamic Nazism

Last week President Bush mentioned "Islamo-Fascism" in a speech, and was instantly lauded in the conservative press for calling it what it is, and instantly lambasted by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR, rhymes with "care") and other Islamic advertising agencies for dissing Arabs and Islam. As far as I can tell, President Bush hasn't used the term "Islamo-Fascism" in public since, perhaps in an effort to mollify the Muslims who see the act of murder-suicide as the highest and holiest of all religious sacraments, the one that gets you an E-ticket to Paradise and seventy-two virgins.



But I have an objection.



I still do not think President Bush is speaking the truth, not the whole truth, not in public at least, not clearly and fully. And it is obvious that most of the American (and European) press is either completely oblivious to reality or in a desperate state of psychological denial, unwilling to speak, or see, the ugliest truth: that the Islamic Resistance Movement, the Jihad, is not merely fascist, it is Nazi. It is the resurgence of Nazism wrapped in the blood-red scimitar flag of Islam. We face a religio-political movement with roots deep in the thuggery and mass graves of Hitlerian Nazism and the ancient monumental slaughters of Islam that grandiosely envisions a world without Jews, a world of Islamic totalitarianism in which all surviving Infidels are second-class citizens, an Islamic Reich to last for eternity.



"Fascism" is a carpetbag word for any state or ideology of political totalitarianism, in which all the rights of the individual are subordinate to the power and interests of the State with a capital "S." Fascism can be mild or extreme, malevolent or relatively benign, communist, socialist, or even somewhat capitalist. China today is an example of a fascist state in the process of evolving from communism to capitalism, and, maybe, eventually, out of fascism into democracy, or maybe not. Any political structure in which the individual has no rights, or few, vis a vis the State, is by definition fascist. Put simply, in a fascist state there is no constitutional right to sue or even petition the government for redress of grievances (as there is in America).



The Jihad is less interested in statism than in the slaughter and subjugation of infidels for the glory of Allah, in the fulfillment of the words of the Prophet as recorded in the Koran, and in the establishment of a global Islamic hegemony. But this has much less to do with the organization of states and nations than with the religious imperialism of Islam. It is Religionism, not Statism, and while we might accurately describe this as Religious Fascism (in which the individual has no rights, or few, vis a vis Islam) it is otherwise adaptable to almost any form of government, even an American democracy, as long as we repeal the First Amendment ("Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . .) and establish Islam as the official, and only, religion in America.



But "fascist" is a generic term, and therefore somewhat vague and ambiguous. We may say that Nazism is a form of fascism, yes, but that is rather like saying that your prize Russian Wolfhound is a dog. The description is incomplete, and therefore ambiguous. It is partial, and therefore vague. There are specific attributes that distinguish the Russian Wolfhound from other dogs, and there are specific attributes that distinguish Nazism from other fascisms, all of which are shared by the Wahhabist Jihad.



They are: (1) Anti-Semitism, sociopathic hatred of Jews, (2) philosophical Superiorism, and (3) the embrace of strategic terrorism.



Anti-Semitism



At least following Mamoud Ahmadinejad's very public declarations that the abolition of Israel is the key to peace in the Middle East, and the bombing of two synagogues in Istanbul yesterday by Al Qaeda, it cannot be possible for any rational observer to deny the racism, the Anti-Semitism, the irrational and sociopathic hatred of Jews, at the core of the Jihad. And the link between Hitlerian Nazism of the 1930s and 1940s and the Islamic Nazism of today is well documented. A Google search for "Islam Nazi Connection" will get you an earful, or an eyeful. Chuck Morse's book The Nazi Connection to Islamic Terrorism tells the story far more fully than I can here. The recent article by the well-known and generally liberal Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz Hezbollah's Final Solution (http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=23823) is a chilling summation. The article Al Queda Terrorists Nazi Connection by Joseph Zyble at the Warriors for Truth website is another (http://www.warriorsfortruth.com/al-queda-terrorists-nazi-connection.html). And the long war by its Arab neighbors for the abolition of Israel, now taken up by Hamas and Hezbollah, now in its 58th year with Iran threatening the nuclear annihilation of Israel, stands as conclusive proof.



Once upon a time, Hitlerian Nazism sought to purge Europe, at least, of Jews, and give the Arabs and Iranians free reign to purge the Middle East of Jews. Today, Islamic Nazism seeks again, or still, to purge the Middle East, at least, of Jews. A religio-political movement with the Ethnic Cleansing of an "inferior race" as one of its essential doctrines and top priorities. Racism, with no apologies.



Superiorism



The Hitlerian Nazi movement was convinced that its Aryan genes conferred a racial superiority of such magnitude that it endowed the Nazis with a right, a fate, a duty, a manifest destiny, that not only justified but compelled them to conquer and subjugate all other, inferior, peoples and races, and to cleanse the world of "undesirables," for the glory of the Aryan race.



The Islamic Nazi movement is a mirror image, convinced that its Islamism confers a religious, spiritual, superiority of such magnitude that it endows the Jihad with a right, a fate, a duty, a manifest destiny, that not only justifies but compels them to conquer and subjugate all other, inferior, peoples, all non-Muslims, for the glory of Islam and Allah.



The Hitlerian doctrine of racial supremacy, white supremacy, Nazi Superiorism, Aryan Superiorism, was rooted in genetics, in racial identity. The Jihadist doctrine of religious supremacy, Islamic supremacy, Islamic Superiorism, is rooted in Islam, in religious identity. They are fraternal twins.



Strategic Terrorism



Hitlerian Nazism believed that its mandate, which flowed from its Superiorism, was so great that it not only justified but compelled the use of all possible means, including the strategic use of terrorism, the years-long bombing and rocketing of London (mirrored in Hezbollahs rocket attacks on Israel's cities), the concentration camps for some twelve million Jews and Slavs and Catholics and homosexuals and people with disabilities and others of "inferior" races and genes, to advance its conquest, to realize its destiny.



Likewise, Islamic Nazism has embraced the doctrine of Strategic Terrorism as a force multiplier. It cannot field large armies and navies, but it can blow up civilians without warning almost anywhere on earth, calculating that, in time, it can terrorize the Infidels into cowering submission. Like the Nazis of Hitler's time, it will kill anyone, in any way, in the pursuit of its cause. It will kill infidels, and it will kill Muslims, as we see almost daily in Iraq, where, unable to defeat American forces in direct combat, it seeks to destroy the fledgling Islamic democracy by unleashing daily the dogs of war-by-terror that the government cannot prevent, until the legitimacy and efficacy of the government is destroyed and the Jihad can take over. And we see it again yesterday and today in Turkey, where suicide-murdererss have blown up two synagogues, and a British embassy, and a bus in front of McDonald's, and a Turkish resort, killing some Jews and Britons, yes, but mostly other Muslims.



These three concepts distinguish Islamic Nazism from plain ol' run of the mill Fascism, which, by comparison, is relatively benign. Sociopathic Anti-Semitism. Religous Superiorism. Strategic Terrorism.



The reason why it is important to distinguish Islamic Nazism from fascism, or Islamo-fascism, is that naming a thing by its true name, seeing the reality clearly and unambiguously, has a terrible way of focusing the mind. "Nazism" carries an urgency, embodies an ugly history and reality, the ugliest of histories and realities, that "fascism" only vaguely and ambiguously alludes to. We do not want to recognize this perfect storm of Hitlerian Nazism and Islamic Imperialism for what it is, because it is too ugly. To say its name, "Nazism," conjures visions of Auschwitz and Dachau. Yet it is the truth, and those visions should be conjured, for if Islamic Nazism succeeds in its ambitions, there will doubtless be new Auschitzes and new Dachaus, and there they will burn Jews, and Christians, and Buddhists, and Hindus and Atheists in the ovens and tumble their bodies into mass graves.



But seeing it clearly for what it is, speaking the truth, speaking its name, its true name, Islamic Nazism, demands a galvanic response from America, and from Europe, to end the re-emergence of the racist, sociopathic plague of Nazism that ravaged Europe less than a lifetime ago, gestating this time in mosques all over the world, rather than just in the beerhalls of Germany. Seeing it clearly for what it is compels us to face the intellectual, ideological avoidance and denial that keeps so many of us, especially so many of America's (and Europe's) Democrats and other Liberals, ambivalent, or openly opposed to the War on Terror, which is really a War on Islamic Nazism. Like the Americans before Pearl Harbor who thought Hitler was Europe's problem and Japan was China's, too many Americans and Europeans today do not yet understand that the bell tolls for them. They do not want to. It is far too ugly and frightening to admit that the malevolent virus of Islamic Nazism has already infected every continent, and many nations.



"Terror" is merely a tactic, and "terrorism" a strategic philosophy - it is not the driving force. It is the tool, not the carpenter. It is the hammer, not the man who swings the hammer. We cannot win a war against the hammer without winning a war against the man who swings the hammer. But to do this, we must know him, we must recognize him, we must see him for who and what he is, we must name him, and then we must make war against him, Islamic Nazism, and not merely against the hammer, the tool, the acts of terror, the acts of the man who swings the hammer. To win, you must know your enemy for what he is, not for what we wish him to be. And no euphemism of "Islamo-Fascism" can make the Islamic Resistance Movement, the Wahhabist Jihad, anything but the resurgence and re-emergence of Nazism ideologically married to puritanical Islam. Islamic Nazism.



We do not quite want to see what confronts us, not even in the spotlight of Muhammed's words:



"And when the sacred months are passed, kill those who join other gods with God (Allah) wherever ye shall find them; and seize them, besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush; but if they convert and observe prayer, and pay the obligatory alms, then let them go their way, for God is Gracious, Merciful."
