My local store is the Tesco at Cheshunt, Herts. Apparently it's their flagship store. This place is big on everything....including the in-store advertising. Besides having a massive TV wall style selling point for their TV sets there are:

Evil or Very Mad 2x 40inch Plasma screens at the end of every isle
Evil or Very Mad 4x 40inch specialist areas (DVD/PlayStation/Make-up)
Evil or Very Mad 2x 15inch LCDs in most isles
Evil or Very Mad 9x Standard 14inch sets on entrance to main isle

I have a simple TV-Off remote I picked up from Play.com, just walking round the store collecting a few essentials I switched off 24 screens in all, I hardly had to try, the screens were mostly the same make, they went off in seconds. This was great fun. The best of all was the tele wall, whilst people were dozing I zapped 6 screens at once. My zapper has a volume control too, so next time I'm in there, Tesco will be selling bog roll at a 100 decibels Wink

Brilliant!

It sounds as though you have a next-generation unit, what with the volume control option added!

Science soldiers on, now doesn't it?
