-20 is cold, very cold.........we have great problems overhere to keep warm esp at night.....for my doggie it is also a problem, her feet stick to the ground so I have to rub them everytime we go outside with vaseline to prevent frostbite..........and I walk like an eskimo.................in a wintersport outfitt but that is very warm...........coming night even colder till -30 but from saterday a bit milder..........I hope so

Looks very pretty Hans!

Just two questions ...
[1] What is that symbol you have stitched at the bottom? Looks like circles in a hairy container, but I'm sure it's got a perfectly innocent explanation!
[2] What words are you stitching? Do they relate to the Iris, or are they a message to someone? Please tell us what the words are, in your own language (as stitched?) and in English!

The iris you have stitched is beautiful!
But do the words add a meaning (for someone - never mind who!) that we here in the YXS forum really don't need/want to know?

Brian

hi Brian.........to tell you the thruth, I have no idea what is written in the bottom of the iris....................I know it has something to do with the growth of an iris.....I can read PH and that is a kind of indication what soil an iris need...that circle is i think the depths you must plant the bulbs.........and the drwaing how it grows.......nbo idea which languafge it is, thought of latin because mnost of caracteristics of plants are in that language.................it will always be a secret..................i ask more people if they could read it and up till now nobody.............

He Tim, you are welcome to come and see all my framed stitched pieces..and no that is not a bold bonsai, that are dried winetreewoods that are use in terrariums and so.................just arranged them in a pot because in winter we cannot hold plants very good because of lack of daylight
