Tim,
Thanks. I was just kidding about the porn name. With my luck that would just attract unwanted attention. Will give consideration to your comments. Actually, I'm still hesitant to go forward and haven't decided how I'll approach the whole matter. I think I'll do some research on the matter before I just dive in. Caution may sometimes be prudent.
Thanks,

Hans,
I'm not too scared except for identity theft. There have been numerous cases of people getting ripped off through the piracy which is somehow embedded in music and photo sharing software participation. People have had fraudulent tax returns filed claiming a refund to be sent to a felonious address (ultimately to the pirates) and then the IRS sues the real people since they were responsible for safeguarding their information all because of this type of worm hole that opens up to all of your info on your computer. Bank accounts and passwords have been stolen and wiped out before the consumer ever knows about it. Online banking transactions have actually been intercepted and re-routed.
The problem has received national coverage and with the economic situation, the prognosis is that the problems will increase as people become more desparate. The only company that I know that claims to be free of these problems is Apple with the iTunes software. I'm just very skeptical of "free" claims of these various sharing softwares as a result.
Hey, if somebody wants my identity, they can have it! I'm ready to trade up for a new one. Hopefully one with more money and no problems. If they'll just offer me a decent trade, I'll take it.
Just naturally paranoid after the Bush years when they were even monitoring your library records to see which books you checked out. (The jerk! I'm just glad his term is finally over).
I'm still working on the problem of how to post and once I figure it out, I'll try to post something.
In the mean time...... (or as we say in the US, ...meanwhile back at the ranch....), how's everything going with you and everyone else.
I almost bought another stash item yesterday, a Dimensions piece of a European cafe and street. I just found it enchanting. Our kits are so cheap here compared to Europe. For example, the price was only $19.99 for the whole kit and with a coupon, I could have had it for 40% off! Boy was I tempted and then I thought about my extensive stash and backed off.
Well, here's hoping the very best for you and the others
For now,

Okay Ray I understand your concern, maybe that is why I have a privat homepage to share pictures ..........but with the right anti-virus software and security I think you can use all kind of site "safe"
here everything is going well except the weather, it is cold and wet again something I don't like...........and my stitching is going very good, eggie begins to be a very shiny and colorfull thing, show you later the pictures when I have updated my website........can take a while.LOL.
Wow that is cheap, stitching in europa is very expensive at the moment that is why I buy most things in England, the exchange with pounds is very good........we pay 1,30 euro for one skein of DMC and in england only 50 eurocents....not to talk about your prices.......... _________________ Hans
